ABOUT

Sienna Clark grew up in rural Blue Rapids, Kansas. Her passion for art led her to a major in Fine Art with a concentration in Drawing and Painting from Kansas State University. In school she spotted her interest in the figure, women, specifically and began exploring the concepts that surround them. She dappled in several mediums before she found that she liked a combination of pastel, acrylic, and watercolor. Her imagery focuses on larger than life mixed media drawings of the figure. The issue of women and beauty continues to be a theme of hers even after graduating. The Reuben Saunders Gallery in Wichita, Kansas and the Strecker Nelson West Gallery in Manhattan, Kansas house her most current works. Sienna resides in Waterville, Kansas where she continues making her paintings in a studio she shares with her dog, Indiana.
